Are they permanent?
No, they are not permanent. You can put them on and take them off whenever you like. Grillz are a type of jewellery designed to clip on your teeth. They may not be permanent, but they are made of solid dental or precious gold (usually 10k, 14k or18k) which lasts forever.
How do they work?
The custom-fitted gold grillz we sell are especially made to fit your teeth, therefore we need an impression of your teeth before we make them and post back to you the ready product. Check out the short video which explains how you can easily take your teeth impression at home.
How do I get my own?
You can order online from this website. All you have to do is select your product and place your order. You then receive an impression kit, send us back the impression of your teeth and receive the ready made grillz at your address.
Alternatively, you can come to our shop and get your mould done there by simply walking in Monday to Friday 1-7pm. Collection in a week for standard grillz or two for diamond grillz and special custom designs.
What is dental gold?
Dental gold is a non precious material which is especially designed to be in the mouth. It is used by dentists in the UK to make gold crowns and you can have it in white and yellow colour. It offers the same durability and quality as precious 10, 14 and 18k gold but is cheaper as it doesn't have carats.
What is the difference between dental gold and 10k gold?
Apart from the fact that dental gold doesn't have a carat, one big difference between the dental gold and the 10k gold is in the yellow version. Yellow dental gold has a very light colour so appears to be a lot lighter when compared to the solid 10k yellow gold.
I wanted sterling silver caps, why is it not available?
As you may have noticed, we do not offer sterling silver 925 grillz but instead you can find the alternative dental alloy which looks exactly the same. The reason we doo not offer sterling silver is that it is very harmful to be in people's mouth. Apart from the obvious side effects such as tarnishing when in contact with saliva, the sterling silver is also toxic.
